Abstract

Women entrepreneurship plays a vital role in the modern business functioning. This study aims at studying the relationship between digital capabilities and business success among women entrepreneurs with a focus on the moderating role of resource access. A descriptive research design is adopted in this research. The primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire with the registered women entrepreneurs operating in Tiruchirappalli city and Thiruverambur taluk in Tamil Nadu, India. Statistical analyses including reliability tests, correlation analysis, and moderation regression were conducted using SPSS. The findings revealed that the digital skills, social media use, entrepreneurial attitude, and AI adoption have positively associated with business success. Among them, social media engagement and entrepreneurial attitude emerged as the strongest predictors of business success. The results further have shown that resource access significantly moderated the relationship between digital skills and business success. For literature contribution, this study is making a significant impact on digital entrepreneurship and women-led enterprises. Thus, it lead to providing policy and managerial insights for strengthening digital capability development among women entrepreneurs.
