Abstract
In the dynamic landscape of higher education, strategic planning has emerged as a critical tool for universities and colleges to navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and ensure sustainable growth. This article explores the multifaceted process of strategic planning and implementation in higher education institutions, emphasizing its importance, methodologies, stakeholder involvement, and best practices. The initial sections of the article define strategic planning within the context of higher education, tracing its historical evolution and outlining key components such as mission statements, vision formulation, and strategic objectives.
